General Enquiries

Is there a time limit on bookings?

All dining reservations are allocated 2 hour seating times.

Is food an essential requirement for booking?

Yes, all bookings are for food only.

Does OpenTable take the €10 deposit when I book in straight away?

No, this is only taken in the event of a no-show on the day or if you do not provide the venue with at least 48hrs notice of a cancellation.

Can I put more than 10 at my tables?

Do you accommodate vegans?

Yes

What is Cafe En Seine's grace period?

We have a 15 minute grace period for all dining reservations – your table may not be available if you show up after this time. If you are running late, this will be deducted from the 2 hours you have on the table. Please contact us via Open Table direct messaging if you are running late.
We have a 20 minute grace period for all reserved areas. If you don’t show up after this time, the area may not be available to your group and your deposit will be non-refundable

Are children permitted in Cafe En Seine?

Yes, children are permitted and we have a kids menu available. All children under the age of 13, must be off the premises by 7pm. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

I have lost an item in Café en Seine, where do I enquire?

Please email [email protected] with the date you lost your item along with as much detail as possible and someone will be in touch shortly. Please note: lost property items are held in the venue for one month, from logged date that the item was lost.

What time is last orders?

The last orders in the kitchen are at 9:20pm. The last orders for the bar are subject to change depending on the day of your visit.

How can I cancel my Open Table reservation?

You have up until 48 hours prior to your booking to cancel on Open Table. All cancellations must be sent on the direct messaging feature on Open Table.

Do you offer a set menu for large groups?

Yes, we can provide set menus for large groups. Please enquire via event enquiries link.

If the numbers drop do we get charged a cancellation fee per person?

No

Can my booking be seated in the street garden?/ Requesting specific seating

We can note your preference at the time of booking but we cannot guarantee a specific area on the night.

Can we be seated next to a separate booking/friends?

We can try to accommodate this but this cannot be guaranteed on the night

Do you offer finger food?

Yes, we can provide finger food menus to large groups. Please enquire via event enquiries link

What is Cafe En Seine’s dress code?

Smart casual

What is the age policy in Cafe En Seine?

Cafe En Seine are strictly over 23’s after 8pm. The latest booking we can take for anyone who is under 23 is at 6pm. ID required and will be checked on the door. Bookings do not guarantee entry and the right of admission is reserved. (R.O.A.R)

Do Cafe En Seine host cocktail masterclasses?

Cafe En Seine’s cocktail masterclasses are no longer available for 2022. For 2023 enquiries, please email [email protected] for information.
A minimum of 10 people is required and can be booked with or without food, depending on availability.

Is there a service charge on tables?

On all group bookings of 4 or
more, there is a 12.5% service charge applicable

Drinks Bookings

Do we take drinks only bookings?

No, but you are welcome to walk-in on the day for drinks and be seated should there be a suitable table available.

Can we stay back for drinks after?

This cannot be guaranteed but it is possible if there is a suitable table available.

Do I need to book a table for drinks?

No, bookings are for food only

Can we arrive early for a drink?

No, please do not arrive early to your booking as we cannot accommodate such instances.

Deposits

Can I get my deposit back?

For all bookings of 7 people or more who have paid a deposit, we require at least 7 days notice if you wish to cancel the reservation and receive a full refund for the deposit paid. If you cancel your booking within the 7 days notice period, a credit note will be issued to you, valid for up to 1 year from the reservation date. This includes if you cancel your booking due to Covid-19
